DOVER, DE - Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who shot at a teenager.

Dover Police Department says the shooting happened on Thursday, May 8, around 2:22 p.m. Police say an officer of the Wyoming Police Department was in the area of Simon Circle and heard shots being fired. Several officers responded and contacted a 17-year-old victim who had been shot at. Police say no one was injured.

Investigators say a man in dark clothing shot at the victim and fled. The 17-year-old was reportedly uncooperative with detectives, and there are no additional leads at this time.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
