SUSSEX COUNTY, DE - The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control announced the DuPont Nature Preserve's opening date for 2025.
DNREC says the DuPont Nature Preserve at the Mispillion Harbor Reserve will reopen for the 2025 season on Wednesday, April 2nd. Wildlife officials say the facility will be open from 9:00am to 4:00pm on the following days:
- April: Open Wednesdays and Saturdays only
- May through August: Open Tuesdays through Saturdays, closed on Sundays and Mondays
- September: Open Wednesdays and Saturdays only
The center will close again from October through March.
The DuPont Nature Center is located at 2992 Lighthouse Road, Milford, Delaware.
