DEAL ISLAND, MD - Both the Salisbury and Deal Island Fire Departments responded to a submerged vehicle on Tuesday morning in Somerset County. 

According to a social media post by the Salisbury Fire Department, the two fire companies assisted each other on January 9th in investigating the scene at a pond on Riley Roberts Road.

Divers pulled the tag of the vehicle and searched in and around the sunken SUV according to the social media post. Photos shared in the Fire Department’s post seem to show the vehicle after being hoisted from the water.
