QUEEN ANNE'S CO. - A Grasonville man has been sentenced in connection with a drive-by shooting at Ewing Pond Park in Grasonville back in 2025.
On Oct. 30, police say there were two people inside their car at the park when another car pulled up alongside them and started shooting. One of the people were taken to a Baltimore trauma center for a non-life-threatening injury sustaining during the shooting.
They say during the investigation, detectives identified 29-year-old Zion Cook as the shooter, and that he is related to one of the victims.
