Chamber Music by the Sea brings classical music to Delmarva

BERLIN, Md.- World class musicians will be visiting Delmarva this week, as part of the event "Chamber Music by the Sea".

"Anyone is welcome at any of this concerts," says Elena Urioste, organizer and renowned violinist. "I'd really encourage people to come out and just experience music played at such a top-notch level," she added.

This is the third year the event is being held in the Berlin and Snow Hill area.

"This year we'll have four concerts. Two in local churches and, two in beautiful homes in the Snow Hill and Berlin area," said Urioste.

The 2018 festival includes violinist Bella Hristova, violist Vicki Powell, cellist Guy Johnston, clarinetist Anthony McGill and pianist Tom Poster.

"The August 14th house concert will be held in a magnificent, restored Federal-style home in the heart of Snow Hill," says Urioste. "The Wednesday venue offers one of the most spectacular views overlooking the bay on South Point," she added.

The week will also include two public concerts at Buckingham Presbyterian Church, in Berlin and All Hallows Episcopal Church, in Snow Hill.

"All festival ticket sales will benefit the Worcester County Education Foundation," said Urioste.
