SALISBURY, Md.- Perdue Farms announced Thursday it has laid off 118 employees.
There were reportedly 45 layoffs of administrative, overhead positions in Salisbury. Those positions were eliminated entirely, Perdue Farms spokeswoman Andrea Staub said.
According to the poultry company, Perdue Farms has about 21,000 employees with about 700 of those working in Salisbury.
