SEAFORD, Del.- A contractor suffered serious injuries after falling off a roof in Seaford on Thursday, according to Delaware State Police.
Police said the incident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. at Bi-Rite Auto Sales located at 24770 Sussex Highway. Troopers said the 35-year-old male contractor was on-site working on the roof he fell.
The victim was initially transported to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital but was later transferred to Christiana Hospital. Police have not yet released the victim's name.
Police are investigating the fall as an industrial accident.
