SHOOTING INVESTIGATION GRAPHIC

DOVER, DE - The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured on Monday afternoon.

Police say they responded to Hampton Drive in Dover on November 13th on reports of a shooting just after 2 p.m. There, authorities say they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body and a graze wound on his lower body. The man was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, the man was returning home as three suspects were standing nearby. One of the suspects then fired a handgun at the victim before the three of them fled toward the local Redner’s, according to police. Investigators were unable to locate them.

The Dover Police Department says the investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information to call them at 302-736-7130.
