Andre Daniels

MILFORD, DE - The Milford Police Department arrested a man earlier this week on various drug charges including alleged possession of cocaine, heroin, and mushrooms.

On Tuesday, October 10th, police say they saw a Honda Accord with an equipment violation driving west on NW 10th Street in Milford just after 4 p.m. Officers stopped the vehicle in a Wawa parking lot, and the driver initially gave them a false name, according to police.

Officers allege they observed evidence of drug use in the car and searched the rest of the vehicle. Police reportedly found just under 135 grams of cocaine, about a half-gram of heroin, just over 10 grams of mushrooms, and $851. The driver, Andre Daniels, 35, of Milford, was arrested. Police then learned Daniels had another active capias warrant for his arrest.

Daniels has been charged with three counts of Manufacture/Deliver/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Tier 3 Quantity, one count of Criminal Impersonation, two counts of Possess, Consume a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and traffic related charges. He was taken to the Department of Correction on $45,351 secured bail and a $9,000 cash bail on his court capias.
