In the 30-minute special program “One Delmarva: Seeking Unity,” WBOC and WRDE take a look at how Black history has shaped Delmarva and explore the issues of race, racism and how a country can unite after such harsh division.
The program is hosted by WBOC's Kimberly Holmes and WRDE Chief Meteorologist Paul Williams.
Kimberley gives us a personal look into “Why We Hate,” and speaks with people about their experiences growing up on Delmarva. Paul profiles an historic African-American cemetery in Lewes, Del., that faces an uncertain future.
Together, Kimberly and Paul two host hold a conversation with local leaders and historians on how to come together as one nation after a difficult year that magnified division.
