Andy's Hall at Parkside High School

Parkside High School's gymnasium was renamed to honor longtime coach and teacher Andy Hall.

SALISBURY, Md. – Parkside High School honored longtime coach and teacher Andy Hall last night in a renaming ceremony for the school’s gymnasium – now dubbed “Andy’s Hall.”

According to a post by Wicomico County Public Schools, family, friends, colleagues and former athletes came from as far as Florida to honor Hall, who taught at Parkside since the high school opened in 1975.

Hall coached generations of student athletes, ultimately leading the boys’ soccer team to victory in the 2021 state championship. He continues to coach and mentor members of the Ram Fam since retiring in 2022.

Principal Brian Briggs said Hall’s leadership and fundraising efforts are responsible for many facility improvements – contributions honored with special markings throughout the gym.
