LITTLE CREEK, Del.- A new boat ramp and fishing pier opened in Little Creek on Tuesday.
Delaware's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control opened the new access area, which consists of a paved, single-lane boat ramp with a floating aluminum courtesy dock for boats that includes a kayak launch, an 80-foot aluminum fishing and crabbing pier.
A new paved lot adjacent to the access area also includes a parking lot with 21 spaces for vehicles and trailers.
The area also has a permanent dock for the Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company's rescue boat and for DNREC boats.
