State Fire Marshal: Fire Caused $50K in Damages to Georgetown Church

GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Office of the Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that caused heavy damage to a Georgetown church.

The fire broke out just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Saint Mary's Holy Church on the 20,000 block of Donovan’s Road. 

The Georgetown Fire Company responded to the scene. No one was injured. However, the state fire marshal estimates damage to be at $50,000.
