Pair Arrested in Accomack County Shooting

DOVER, Del.- A 17-year-old boy is facing burglary and related charges after police say he broke into three restaurants and a gas station in Dover. 

Dover police said Friday that the arrest stemmed from an incident that happened shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday, June 16. Officers responded to the Besty Ross restaurant on Forrest Avenue after two males used a concrete block to break a glass door to the business.  Once inside, the suspects checked cash registers, but they were empty.  The suspects then fled. 

Using surveillance footage, officers were able to get descriptions of the suspects and located one of the them in the area of Kenton Road a short time later.  The 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody without incident.  As a result of the investigation, the suspect was also charged with breaking into the Chaivo Sushi Restaurant, Happy Fortune Restaurant and a Valero gas station. 

The teen was charged with four counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy, four counts of criminal mischief and four counts of theft/attempted theft.
