DOVER, Del.- Police have arrested two people in connection with the March murder of a 35-year-old Dover man.
According to Dover police, Tyrone Sampson was the victim of a shooting in the early morning hours on March 30 on Weston Drive. Sampson died the next day from the gunshot would to his upper body two days later on April 1.
Police say Jermaine Brown, 36, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal's First State Fugitive Task Force Tuesday, June 18. He was arrested at an apartment in the Persimmon Tree Complex in the 500 block of Persimmon Tree Lane.
Police say Brown was arrested without incident.
Police also arrested Samantha Randall, 26, who was in the apartment. She was arrested for hindering prosecution at the time.
Brown was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution for $330,500 cash bond for first-degree murder, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, two counts of possession of a firearm/ammo by a person prohibited, two counts of first-degree reckless endangering, and criminal mischief.
Randall was released on order of recognizance on a single charge of hindering prosecution.
