SELBYVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police have located and arrested a Milton man wanted in connection with a sexual assault incident.
Twenty-three-year-old Xavier Aiken is accused of sexually and psychically assaulting a 17-year-old woman at a home in Selbyville on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019.
Troopers responded to a local hospital on Friday after the teenager said she was sexually assaulted. Police said a further investigation revealed the teen was at the home when Aiken assaulted her, strangled her, and held her against her will.
At around 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, Aiken was found at a home on the 20,000 block of Reynolds Pond Road in Ellendale. He was taken into custody without incident.
Aiken was charged with first- and second-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, and strangulation.
Aiken was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $208,000 secured bond.
