OCEAN PINES, Md. - In a closed session on Wednesday night, the Ocean Pines Board unanimously approved a contract for a bulkhead staging ground outside of the community.
The association and contractors employed by Ocean Pines will use the commercial property, in Bishopville, Md., to stage bulkhead repairs and maintenance, as well as dredging of Ocean Pines canals.
General Manager John Viola says, “Having the staging area will save us money and give us flexibility in terms of how we approach the work.”
The new staging area will be used, effectively immediately, Viola said.
