EASTON, Md. - On Friday, police officers were called to the Easton Walmart for reports of a theft totaling $1,500 involving three people.
Upon investigation police discovered that several items had been stolen.
38 year-old Debra Nicklin of North Carolina, 26 year-old Casey Harris of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and 26 year-old Abdul Newland also of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, were all arrested in connection to the theft.
Police later discovered that Nicklin had been to the same Walmart on July 24, and had stolen over $1,500 in merchandise prior.
Harris was charged with one count of theft.
Nicklin was charge with two counts of theft.
Newland was charged with one count of theft and served a Virginia warrant after failing to appear in court in 2019.
All three subjects were taken to Talbot County Detention Center for a Commissioner's Hearing.
