16-Year-Old Boy Dead from Shooting in Dorchester County

CRISFIELD, Md. - Crisfield Police said one person died when he was shot Friday night following an argument. 

According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Somers Cove Apartments. Police said that's where they found the victim laying on the front yard with a gunshot wound to his forehead. Authorities said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as 27-year-old Darryl Merrill Jr. 

Crisfield PD said Merrill got into an argument with 26-year-old Bobby Lee Tenner Jr. At that time, Tenner allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Merrill before taking off.

Police said with the assistance of the Somerset County Sheriff's office, Tenner was arrested and taken to the Crisfield Police Department for questioning.
