SALISBURY, MD - The City of Salisbury’s General Election was held Tuesday, with voters turning out to decide who the next Mayor of the City, as well as the Council Members, will be. Polls closed at 7 p.m. Here are the preliminary results including absentee mail in ballots, which were tallied on Thursday.
MAYOR
Randy Taylor - 1,120 votes = 36.73%
Megan Outten - 1,055 Votes =34.60%
Jermichael Mitchell - 861 Votes =28.24%
DISTRICT 1
April Jackson (incumbent) - 399 Votes =74.44%
Von Siggers - 131 Votes = 24.44%
DISTRICT 2
D’Shawn Doughty (incumbent) - 306 Votes = 69.39%
Wayne King - 131 Votes =29.71%
DISTRICT 3
Sharon Dashiell - 610 Votes =73.58%
Joan Michalowicz - 97 Votes =11.70%
DISTRICT 4
Michele Gregory (incumbent) - 362 Votes =66.18%
Harvey Evans - 175 Votes = 31.99%
DISTRICT 5
Angela Blake (incumbent) - unopposed
