Delaware Encourages Recycling of Used Christmas Trees

SALISBURY, MD - The City of Salisbury has announced its annual curbside Christmas tree pickup service slated for next week.

According to the City, the tree pickup service is scheduled for Monday, January 8th. Neighbors in Salisbury can schedule their collection 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week by calling 410-548-3177. After hours scheduling can also be made at this link.

Neighbors are asked to leave trees unbagged with lights, decorations, tinsel, and stands all removed to facilitate composting. The City also requests avoiding the use of trash cans or recycling bins for tree disposal.
