SALISBURY, MD - The City of Salisbury has announced the closure of Camden Street tomorrow for a sewer tie-in next to Unity Square.
In a statement released Wednesday, City officials say the closure will begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday, October 26th. The closure will last until the sewer tie-in is complete, according to the City. The City did not specify in the statement how long they expect the work to last.
The closure will allow for the installation of new sewer infrastructure that the City says will contribute to a more sustainable and reliable sewage system in Salisbury.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes during the closure period, and the City says detour signs will be displayed to guide traffic.
Any questions or concerns over the closure can be directed to the City of Salisbury Infrastructure & Development Department at 410-548-3170.
