SEAFORD, Del. - Local police say they investigated reports of explosions Saturday morning in Seaford, but say the sound was due to sonic booms.
Delaware State Police say they responded to one of the reported explosions, but the report was unfounded.
The Seaford Police Department posted on Facebook, saying several jets flying over the area created sonic booms, which created the sounds of explosions.
Seaford police say the explosion reports have been closed.
