SALISBURY, MD- Upgrades are coming to a playground in Salisbury.

City officials say the equipment at "Doverdale Playground" on Decatur Avenue and Johnson Street, will be removed on Wednesday, April 30. Work to install new equipment is slated to begin the week of May 5.

They say the playground will be closed during the work.

“We’re always looking for ways to improve our parks and make them safe, welcoming, and fun for families,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “Upgrading Doverdale Park is just one of the ways we’re working to make life better for everyone in Salisbury.”

The project is expected to take about two weeks to complete.
