DOVER, DE - The Dover Police Department arrested three suspects after a shooting and vehicle pursuit in Kent County on Saturday. 

On Saturday, April 19th, just before 8:00am, the Dover Police Department responded to the area of Barrister Place and South Little Creek Road for the report of a shooting. At the location, police officers spoke to the 15-year-old and 14-year-old victims. The victims told officers they were walking in a parking lot of the Country Farms Store when a white Kia Optima pulled into the lot. They say men wearing all black clothing and masks got out of the car. One of the suspects was armed with a revolver type handgun and pointed it at the victims, and shot the gun in the direction of the them. The suspects then left the lot. No one was injured as a result of the shooting. 

Following the shooting, the white Kia used in the incident was found abandoned in a car dealership's lot in Goldsboro, Maryland. Police say it was determined that the Kia was stolen from Camden, Delaware. While at the dealership, the suspects stole another vehicle, a black Hyundai Elantra. 

According to the Dover Police Department, just before 4:30pm, police officers saw a black Hyundai Elantra without a license plate in the area of Capital Green. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspects did not stop, leading to a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit went through Dover and Camden, eventually ending in the area of Willow Grove Road and Mahan Corner Road. 

The Dover Police Department say they arrested a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old, and 18-year-old Leslie McGuire. During a search of the car, DPD say they found a ".38 Caliber revolver was located inside."

Leslie McGuire was charged with the following and committed to SCI on $47,000 cash bail:

-Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony

-Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2x)

-Reckless Endangering First Degree (2x)

-Aggravated Menacing

-Illegal Gang Participation

-Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500

-Conspiracy Second Degree

The 16-year-old male was charged with the following and committed to Stevenson House Detention Center on $25,0000 secured bail: 

-Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony

-Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2x)

-Reckless Endangering First Degree (2x)

-Aggravated Menacing

-Illegal Gang Participation

-Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500

-Conspiracy Second Degree

The 15-year-old male was committed to Stevenson House Detention Center on $26,000 secured bail on the following charges:

-Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony

-Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2x)

-Reckless Endangering First Degree (2x)

-Aggravated Menacing

-Illegal Gang Participation

-Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500

-Conspiracy Second Degree
