GEORGETOWN, DE - Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a vehicle collided with a pole in Sussex County on Sunday night. 

On March 30th, at approximately 7:12pm, the Georgetown EMS (Station 93) and additional local emergency units were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on Wilson Hill Road in Georgetown. 

According to Georgetown EMS, the vehicle had left the roadway and struck a pole, breaking it in half. The two occupants in the car were evaluated and transported to a local medical facility with minor injuries. 

Emergency officials say wires were down and power was out in parts of the area. There are currently no updates on whether power has been restored.
