SHOOTING INVESTIGATION GRAPHIC

SALISBURY, MD - The Salisbury Police Department has announced the arrest of a St. Michael’s man in connection to a shooting incident in April.

According to authorities, police were called to the 600 block of N. Division Street on April 24 at about 10:45 p.m. on reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, police learned two homes with several people inside had been struck by gunfire. A dog inside one of the homes was struck and killed according to police.

Salisbury police did not report any other injuries.

Dodd

Police say the ensuing investigation revealed Ri’tell Dodd, 30, of St. Michael’s, had fired a handgun towards the homes. On April 30, Salisbury Police took Dodd into custody with the help of the St. Michael’s Police Department on the following charges:

-Possession of a Regulated Firearm While Prohibited

-Handgun on Person

-Reckless Endangerment

Police say the investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information to contact them at 410-548-3165.
