Police flashing lights generic

SEAFORD, DE - The Seaford Police Department is investigating an incident at the Cross Christian Academy in which unknown suspects showed a gun to a student on the school’s playground and threw a rock that struck another.

Police say the suspects were not on school property at the time of the incident, and all students were brought inside and placed on lockdown. The Seaford Police Department along with the Delaware State Police searched the area for the suspects but did not find them.

The suspects are described as an Asian male with an “Anime” t-shirt and a black male in a red and black shirt. Police say one of them had a camo backpack in which the possible firearm was hidden. Police say they would remain at the school until all students are picked up.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Seaford Police Department at 302-629-664
