POCOMOKE, MD - The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested eight people from Pocomoke following a long-term drug distribution investigation.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the covert investigation was launched after seeing a spike in overdoses and several neighbors contacting police regarding suspected drug activity. The following suspects, all from Pocomoke, were arrested for various alleged drug offenses, all relating to cocaine, at the conclusion of the investigation:

Gionni Murph, 25
Devin Bryant, 34
Michelle Dryden, 53
Darron Pittman, 22
Curtis Schoolfield, 45
Andrew Miller, 34
Loynial Sturgis, 44
The eight suspects have all been arrested and are awaiting trial. In September, three other suspects were arrested in Pocomoke on various drug and firearm charges as a result of the same investigation.
