TALBOT CO., MD - The Talbot County State’s Attorney’s Office has announced the conviction of a 34-year-old man for the sexual assault of a child.

According to prosecutors, Kevin Hamilton Manning pleaded guilty to ten counts between two separate cases in Circuit Court for Talbot County on April 22. The first case saw Manning pleading guilty to felony third-degree sex offense against a 3-year-old, officials say.

Prosecutors say the second case involved witness intimidation and harassment of the child victim’s mother as well as violating a protective order. 

Manning’s guilty plea followed an extensive investigation by multiple law enforcement offices in Talbot County. His sentencing is currently scheduled for July of this year.
