Road Closure

DEWEY BEACH, DE - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced the upcoming temporary closure of a portion of Read Avenue in Dewey Beach.

According to DelDOT, Read Avenue between Coastal Highway (Rt. 1) and Buena Street will close on Tuesday, February 27th through Tuesday, March 12th. DelDOT says the closure is due to the installation of a new water and sewer line.

Drivers are asked to slow down in work zones and expect minor delays in the area while installation is underway.
