FELTON, DE. - Delaware State Police confirm to WBOC that a crash is being investigated on Berrytown Road in Felton.

State Police say it happened around 3:22 p.m. as a white 2019 Volkswagen Beetle was heading southbound on Berrytown Road south of Henry Cowgill Road.

Police say for unknown reasons, the Beetle went off the road and rolled over before coming to a stop in a ditch.

The driver, a 17-year-old boy was ejected during the crash. The passengers, a 16-year-old boy in the front passenger seat and a 17-year-old boy in the rear passenger seat remained in the car.

Police say all three people were flown to trauma hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.

A DSP spokesperson says the boys are from Dover, and are believed to be Dover High School students.

A cause remains under investigation.
