Halloween

Halloween

SALISBURY, Md.- All of the goblins, ghosts and witches will be out Tuesday night for Halloween! Lieutenant Brandon Caton with the Salisbury Police Department says trick-or-treaters and drivers need to be extra vigilant this evening.

"Stay in groups so you are visible, use reflective gear um sometimes Halloween costumes can be dark so maybe use reflective tape, carry a flash light, again stay in a group with reflective gear be really helpful and just know where you're at and the big cross walks and the traffic laws that are already in place and you should be safe with that," said Caton.

Drivers should also be prepared to break.

"When driving around during Halloween obviously you're going to run into these groups so you want to be alert monitor your speed typically slow down because kids can be unpredictable at times so you want to maybe lower your speed a little bit stay alert to make sure everyone is safe and you have enough time to break if needed," said Caton.
