Salisbury Trash

SALISBURY, MD - Salisbury’s Department of Field Operations has announced unexpected delays in trash collection services due to maintenance issues with some of their trucks.

The City of Salisbury says pick-up normally scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays will be staggered, with some of those pick-up times moving to the day after. Some Thursday routes may see pick-ups on Friday, and some Friday routes may see collection on Saturday, according to the City.

The City of Salisbury expects a time frame of four weeks for complete repairs to their trucks, but notes those repairs could take longer than expected.

Salisbury residents are asked to leave trash out for collection crews if it is not collected at the usual date and time, and are encouraged to watch for updates from the Department of Field Oprations.
