MILLSBORO, Del. - Two teenage boys are facing felony charges after allegedly burglarizing a gas station.
Delaware State Police say on Jan. 29, around 2 a.m., two suspects broke into Liberty Gas Station, located at 31507 Oak Orchard Road. Troopers say they arrived to find a 15-year-old and 16-year-old inside the store. The teens reportedly fled from the store on foot. Troopers say after a brief foot chase, the teens were apprehended and the stolen property was recovered from a book bag.
Authorities say the 16-year-old was transported to Troop 4, where he was charged with the below crimes, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on his own recognizance to a guardian.
- Burglary Third Degree (Felony)
- Theft Over $1500 (Felony)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Conspiracy 2nd Degree (Felony)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1000
The 15-year-old was transported to Troop 4, where he was charged with the below crimes, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on his own recognizance to a guardian.
