LAUREL, Del. - Laurel Police say the investigation into a shooting on Sunday afternoon has been handed over to the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit.

DSP says that an 18-year-old male was found suffering from several gunshot wounds on the porch of a home on the 500 block of West 7th Street in Laurel around 3 p.m on October 29th. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, troopers say. 

On Wednesday, November 1st, Delaware State Police identified the victim as Kylee Robinson, 18, of Laurel. The Laurel School District confirmed Wednesday afternoon that Robinson was a senior at Laurel High School.

State Police say a 15-year-old male and a 13-year-old male were also found on the porch with gunshot wounds to the lower extremities. They were both taken to a nearby hospital where they are reportedly in stable condition. Their identities have not been released.

Police say the 15-year-old was released from the hospital on October 31st. As of November 1st, the 13-year-old remains in the hospital in stable condition.

Investigators say two unknown suspects approached the victims and started reportedly shooting. Authorities say, after numerous rounds were fired, the suspects ran in an unknown direction. The investigation has determined that this was not the result of an active shooter situation, officials say.

According to a post on the Laurel School District's facebook page, services for Robinson will be held Saturday, Nov. 4 with a viewing at 10am followed by a celebration of life at 12pm.
