HARRINGTON, DE - Multiple fire companies responded to a large residential structure fire in Kent County on Tuesday night. 

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office Kent says the fire was reported just before 7:30 p.m. on Fairground Road in Harrington on April 8. 

According to state fire officials, the Harrington Fire Company arrived to the location to find a home fully involved in flames. Multiple mutual aid and fire companies responded to assist.

On April 18, the Delaware State Fire Marshal announced that 64-year-old Karl Bryfogle , of Harrington, was charged with arson and burglary.

He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $10,000 secured bond.
