LEWES, DE - The Lewes Junction Railroad & Bridge Association announced that they will be adding a new piece of railroad history to their track at the Lewes Junction.

The association says a coal tender will be placed on the tracks in Lewes, joining the red caboose that already sits there.

The installation is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, April 10th. The tender will travel from a workshop in Willow Street, Pennsylvania and arrive at Kings Highway and Freeman Highway in Lewes around 6:00am or 9:00am. The tender will then be placed on the track between the red caboose and Adams Avenue.
