Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021, shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She produces our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won three first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association since joining Delmarva's News Leader.
World's Largest Rubber Duck website
CRISFIELD, MD- The world's largest rubber duck is set to waddle back to Crisfield this Summer.
Somerset County Tourism announced that the duck will appear at "Big Little Townfest." Officials say the event is scheduled to run from August 1 to 3 at the Crisfield American Legion Post 16.
The giant duck reportedly stands six stories tall and weighs 15 tons.
The inflatable yellow bird previously made a splash in Crisfield in 2023.
