Residents are raising concerns about bicycle safety along New Road, where a bike trail ends without a marked way to cross the street.
State transportation officials are considering building two pedestrian bridges over Route 1 near Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. The bridges would allow bicyclists and pedestrians to safely cross over busy sections of the highway.
