As Sussex County continues to experience rapid growth, county leaders have approved a new school impact fee aimed at helping local school districts keep pace with increasing enrollment.

The U.S. Department of Education has announced that it is rescinding agreements with five school districts across the country that required the districts to prevent discrimination on the basis of gender identity, including Cape Henlopen School District in Sussex County. 

24-year-old Mason Fluharty will make his World Series debut Friday night as a relief pitcher with the Toronto Blue Jays. Fluharty has roots on Delmarva as a 2019 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School.
