The Sussex County Council approved changes today to its marijuana zoning laws to ease restrictions on retail cannabis stores.
At Tuesdays Sussex County Council meeting, an ordinance was introduced which would adjust some of the current regulations on retail marijuana sales in county limits. The discussion comes after state-level pushback over the current ordinance.
On Monday night, Milford's city council voted 6-2 to ban recreational marijuana sales within municipal limits.
The Seaford City Council is set to discuss a potential code amendment that, if passed, would allow for marijuana business licenses within city limits.
