Berlin angler Marc Spagnola reeled in a 20-year record-breaking longfin albacore at 78 pounds on Sept. 21.

Tuesday marked the second day of the White Marlin Open, and anglers at the Sunset Marina are making their plans for the rest of the week. 

WEST OCEAN CITY, Md. -- Sand build-up near the West Ocean City Harbor continues to give boaters a hard time. Moving through those waters should get a bit easier though after one of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dredges got to work on Friday. 

Dredging in the Ocean City Inlet is set to begin today, according to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

OCEAN CITY, Md. -- Fuel prices at marinas remain steady from this summer, meaning fishermen are still paying a good chunk of change to fill their tanks. According to fishermen we spoke with, prices for diesel are still hovering around $5.50 per gallon. 

OCEAN CITY, Md. -- Oceana, a non-profit organization, is pushing for a 10-knot speed limit for boats 35 feet and over to be implemented as soon as possible. The reduced speed limit is intended to help protect the endangered right whale species, of which there are roughly 340 left.
