HURLOCK, Md. - The National Weather Service has issued a preliminary local storm report confirming an EF0 tornado in Dorchester County this past weekend.
According to the report released on Monday, the tornado formed around 6:30 p.m. on July 18 and produced 80 to 85 mph winds. The storm partially removed a metal roof from a Hurlock transport facility, according to the NWS. Another building and nearby tractor trailers were also damaged.

The NWS previously reported that no tornadoes touched down during Saturday’s widespread storms on Delmarva, though later reversed that on Monday with the confirmation of the EF0.
