OCEAN CITY, Md - For the second consecutive year there will not be a St. Patrick's Day Parade in Ocean City. The event normally draws thousands of spectators and is one of the largest tourist attractions during the off-season.
"The health of our community is of the most importance, but in addition to that is the health and welfare of or participants is also paramount." Parade Co- Chair Buck Mann said in statement issued Monday night. "Our parade would not be the success it has grown to be over the years without you. Your continued support of the parade has enabled us to raise funds for local scholarships, youth recreation programs, and other charitable events."
According to Mann, the next attempt at having the parade will be March 12, 2022.
