The ridge is starting to slide off the coast this morning and will allow the wind to turn out of the south and west and bring in warmer temperatures heading toward the weekend. As the wind picks up, we will see temperatures climb up into the 60s and 70s for highs today with a mix of sun and clouds which will be nice. The wind will be gusting at times over 30+ mph throughout the day and that wind will be a factor in our forecast for Saturday as well.

Temperatures on Saturday keep climbing into the 70s and 80s in the afternoon ahead of a backdoor cold front that will try to clear the area Saturday night and shift the wind out of the north and northeast for Sunday and bring in some slightly cooler weather. We will be in the 50s and 60s for sunrise services on Easter Sunday with temperatures back up into the 70s for highs Sunday and the more comfortable temperatures will linger into next week. A chance of showers will move across Delmarva with a storm on Monday afternoon and Monday evening.

The warmer weather sticks around into next week with highs forecasted into the 70s for much of the week and keeping us above average for temperatures for this time of year.
