We start this morning with a feel of summer to the air as the humidity continues to increase with morning temperatures in the 60s and 70s once again. A springboard into the 80s and a few neighborhoods can flirt with 90 degrees later this afternoon with a good amount of sunshine with a few clouds mixing in from time to time. With the front lagging even more to our west means that our chance of a few spotty showers and storms is still not out of the question, but the organized storm chances look to sit out to our west. As we move into tonight and into Sunday is going to bring a chance of some rain showers and even a few thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening as the front and upper-level low finally begin to arrive and will stick around for a few days.

There is more support for a low pressure cutting off right over the top of Delmarva and will keep us unsettled with rain chances for a few days with the wind in off the Atlantic. This will lock our temperatures in the 60s and 70s through Wednesday with on and off rain chances and we really won’t have to worry about a drought for a while on Delmarva. A chance of a few more showers and storms on Thursday as a cold front sweeps across Delmarva and leads to nice weather into next weekend.
