Friday night: Partly cloudy to mostly clear. Calm winds. Lows in the mid to upper 60s.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy. Showers develop in the afternoon, then showers and thunderstorms in the evening and overnight. Highs in the low 80s. Chance of rain 20 percent, increasing to 80 percent in the evening.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers and thunder, mainly in the morning. Highs in the mid 80s. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Monday: Partly cloudy. Chance of scattered showers. Highs in the low to mid 80s.

Normal high: 81°F. Normal low: 62°F.
The weekend is here, and while it won't be the nicest weekend we've had, it isn't going to be a complete washout.
A cold front dropped south of Delmarva today. With that front to the south, we will briefly see clearing skies Friday night before clouds start building back in after midnight.
For now I am still calling for Saturday to be the better of the two weekend days to be outside. The morning will be partly cloudy. We'll start to see more clouds in the afternoon as some showers develop. This is happening along an area of low pressure that will develop along that front to our south.
We'll then see scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening and overnight, and through Sunday morning. The biggest threat with any storms will be from locally heavy downpours that could cause localized flooding in poorly drained areas.
On Sunday, showers will become more isolated to scattered in the afternoon before tapering off Sunday evening.
Guidance is then suggesting a secondary cold front will swing through the region on Monday, bringing a low chance for a few showers, however most of the day will be partly cloudy.
We'll enjoy some pleasant weather Tuesday through Thursday, before another round of showers possible with a cold front sometime around next Friday.
In the long range, temperatures are expected to be near normal, and precipitation near normal for Sep 18 - Sep 24.
In the Tropics: There are no areas of development interest at this time.
The Atlantic hurricane season ends on November 30.
