MAGNOLIA, Del. -- Roughly ten months after the brutal murder of a Dover man, Delaware State Police continue to search for the man they believed committed the crime.

On March 27, 2015, 44-year-old Richard L. Jacobs, Jr. was found dead in the driver's seat of a 1998 Ford Escort, with multiple gunshot wounds. This was in the Meadowbrook Acres Development in Magnolia, Delaware.

Earlier this month, Delaware State Police said they had developed a suspect and had issued a warrant for the arrest of 37-year-old Anthony E. McDonald. Two weeks later, police continue to search for this suspect.

Jacob's mother reached out to WBOC, hoping to eventually get justice for her son's death. She said the community has posted flyers, hoping anyone with information as to McDonald's whereabouts would come forward.

Police said McDonald has been known to frequent the Dover, Magnolia, and Woodside area and also has ties to the Philadelphia area.

If anyone has any information in reference to his whereabouts they are asked to contact Sgt. D. Weaver at 302-741-2728.  Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
