Say Step Aside to Your Go-To Bar

SALISBURY, Md. -A new entertainment option is coming to downtown Salisbury.

Developers of "Revival" on 213 West Main Street Salisbury hope to open by the end of August. Revival will host acts ranging from comedy, live music, drag shows and after-school theater programs. Their motto seems to be...

"As long as it fits on the stage, we're gonna do it. So we'll have stand up comedy, tribute bands, original bands both local and regional and national," said John Paul Lacap, PCA Productions Marketing Director said. Which according to their director Fred Munzert, art is needed now more than ever.

"Especially after the year we've been through, everything we've been through as a world, if there is ever a time that we need live art and the healing and happiness that it brings, this is the time," he said.

It seems like they're onto something.

"It feels like there's more things going on every weekend and week out. Especially jazz and live music? That's incredible," said Roberto Mayorga. He said he goes to local venues but excited to have something new.

Some acts are already scheduled and can be found on their website, www.revivalshows.com
